Find the correct sleeve size for Fractured Sky: Rift Expansion cards. This guide explains symptoms of poor fit, likely causes, and corrective actions.

Quick answer

Use standard American mini (41mm x 63mm) sleeves for Fractured Sky: Rift Expansion cards. If your sleeves are too tight or too loose, check the brand or try a different size.

Why sleeve fit matters for Rift Expansion

The Rift Expansion adds new cards to your Moonrakers campaign. Sleeves that are too tight can bend card corners, while loose sleeves let dust and grime reach the card surface. A proper fit keeps your cards playable and protected.

Trade-off: tight vs. loose fit

Tight sleeves feel secure but can make shuffling difficult and risk damaging card edges. Loose sleeves are easier to insert but may slide off during play. The ideal sleeve fits snugly without compressing the card.

Diagnosis: sleeve fit issues

Symptom: Cards are hard to insert or remove from the sleeve. Sleeves are likely too narrow. Try a brand with slightly wider dimensions.
Likely cause: Using standard American mini sleeves (41mm x 63mm) is recommended. If your sleeves are from a different region (e.g., European mini sleeves at 44mm x 68mm), they may be too tight for Rift Expansion cards. Check the sleeve packaging for exact dimensions.
Corrective action: Purchase standard American mini sleeves (41mm x 63mm) from a reputable brand. If you still experience tightness, consider premium sleeves that are slightly wider (e.g., 42mm x 64mm). Test one sleeve before buying a bulk pack.
Stop or choose another option: If you prefer no sleeves, store the expansion cards in a deck box or card binder. Sleeves are optional but recommended for protection.
