Nomad reinventa el sistema de contratos para Moonrakers para garantizar que los jugadores siempre puedan encontrar contratos que se adapten a su nave. Mediante la introducción de un tablero de navegación, los jugadores pueden viajar por la galaxia a sectores que tienen contratos alineados con sus habilidades.

Nomad también introduce eventos globales en el juego, que pueden tener efectos aislados o cambiar reglas completas. Es una expansión que tiene la capacidad de hacerte sentir que estás jugando a un juego completamente nuevo, en el mejor sentido.

The contract system in the base game always felt a little luck-dependent, but with the navigation board you can actually plan a route and hunt down deals that fit your ship. My table's games have been way tighter since we added this.

The navigation board finally means I'm not stuck waiting on contracts that don't fit my ship, which happened constantly in the base game. Flying around to different spots to pick up jobs adds a nice bit of planning to every turn.
