Wasn't sure I needed two copies of the Tribunal expansion, but splitting one between my game group and keeping the other at home turned out to be the right call. The added strategy layers really change how the base game plays, and the metal edition pieces have held up fine after a dozen sessions.
The metal pieces have a nice weight to them that makes the table feel more premium than the cardboard tokens we were using. Adding the Tribunal roles totally changed how our group approaches the deduction phase, way more bluffing now.
Bought two copies so my partner and I could each upgrade our sets, and the metal edition pieces feel way more substantial than the cardboard tokens we'd been using. The Tribunal cards slot right into the base game without any rules confusion.
