The resource trading between players got way more cutthroat than I expected, in the best way. Having the deluxe extras in one box made teaching my group painless, since we could just hand out the ship fleets and start exploring.
The secret voting on which hexes score kept our whole table guessing right up to the last turn, which is exactly the tension I wanted from a game night. Learning the resource trading took one round, then everyone was hooked.
Traded resources with my brother for three straight hours and the hex-scoring part kept us both guessing who was really ahead. The bundle's extra pieces are worth it if you play with a full group, and setup honestly took under ten minutes.
