The secret voting mechanic got cutthroat way faster than I expected—halfway through, we were all side-eyeing each other over who backed which demigod. Nine characters sounds like a lot but each one plays differently enough that we immediately wanted a rematch.

Juggling the fate of nine demigods sounded chaotic until we actually played — the secret voting keeps everyone guessing who's backing whom, and the banter gets ruthless in the best way. Our group of four finished a full game in about an hour and immediately wanted a rematch.

Played this with three friends who usually hate bluffing games and even they got into the demigod influencing by round two. My only gripe is that the first playthrough runs a bit slow while everyone figures out the positional play. Give it one more session and the banter really kicks in.
